I’d been issued a repeat script that my normal pharmacy returned to the spine as it was out of stock. I called into Priory Pharmacy to see if they had any in but they were also out together with the normal alternative. They couldn’t help further and said I needed to speak to the prescriber which at 5:30 just before the Easter break seemed tricky. I’m going away straight after Easter and would have run out after I returned so was reluctant to leave it till I got back. I called into PMC and the reception team couldn’t have been more helpful. I think it was Dawn I spoke with (apologies I didn’t make a note of her name) and she was brilliant. She spoke with different clinicians and even ran round to the pharmacy to find out what they actually had in stock. The duty doctor rushed a script through and the pharmacy fulfilled it straight away. I was really grateful so could you pass on my thanks and appreciation to everyone.
