This month and over the summer, we expect the waiting time routine appointments to reach 7-8 weeks. The extended wait times are due to sickness and unplanned absence. It is important we offer enough urgent/on the day capacity while balancing the need to provide routine/ongoing care to patients with ongoing conditions. Please try not worry, if you have submitted a request we will be in direct contact and book appointments in time order.

10:45 update: systems back online but remain slow. Staff are working as hard as possible to catch up on clinics and urgent cases. Please bear with us today. It is expected we will need to turn prioryCARE form off again later today. 09:00 update: the system and internet continue to be intermittently down. Some sites are struggling to access our systems. We have turned the prioryCARE form off for now and will update again as soon as we are able. 8:20am update: the system now appears to be working (a little slower than usual). Please bear with our reception and patient central teams as they catch up. We also have some clinical sickness today and this will mean some postponement of appointments. We are unable to access SystmOne this morning - this is our computer system that holds and documents patient records and appointments. We have logged an urgent report with N3i, the IT provider for the local area. They are working on resolving this ASAP. The prioryCARE form will turn back on once we have access to SystmOne. We understand this may be a York-wide issue.
A reminder that our surgeries are closed this afternoon for a York-wide training event. Urgent cover will be provided 12 - 6pm via Nimbuscare (call 01904 943777) We will reopen as normal at 8am Wednesday morning.
