Park View, Victoria Way and occasionally Lavender Grove surgery will close for an afternoon if staffing pressures or to avoid lone working. See our monthly News Post with more details of specific opening hours.

Our Surgeries

We have eight open sites across the city of York, see the homepage for our practice boundary/map.

Cherry Street surgery (Clementhorpe) has currently suspended services, patients who live near this surgery are able to use any other nearby surgery site. Please do not drop samples or prescriptions at Cherry Street.

You can contact us by phone 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday via 01904 404100. Nimbuscare provides cover between 6-6:30pm.

Our surgery sites open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, they close for lunch 12:15-1pm every day. Patients are still able to use the prioryCARE form and call our Patient Central team during this time on 01904 404100 - see our News Page for more information.

Some of our surgery sites close for the afternoon to reduce lone working. Please see our individual surgery sites pages and our News Page for more up to date information.

We have some pre-booked weekday evening and weekend clinics based at Priory Medical Centre in Acomb and Heworth Green Surgery.

There may also be short notice changes to the opening times of some of the smaller site receptions due to staff illness, but we will always ensure our patients have access to a reception team nearby. We will update the website News Page and Facebook page with any short-notice alterations.

Safe Surgery

PMG is a Safe Surgery - this is any GP practice which commits to taking steps to tackle the barriers faced by many migrants in accessing healthcare. At a minimum, this means declaring your practice a ‘Safe Surgery’ for everyone and ensuring that lack of ID or proof of address, immigration status or language are not barriers to patient registration. For more information visit this website or see the poster here.
